The Annual Heritage Squares Tournament and Dinner took place on Sunday, March 15th. This event is a spin-off of the television show, “Hollywood Squares.” The questions were based on African American History. The categories of the questions included sports, politics, history, entertainment, and inventors. While learning about their heritage the children form lasting relationships with other young people within the church. March 11th, 2018 marked a milestone in the life of Davis Memorial African Methodist Episcopal Church.  The congregation came together along with a host of friends to celebrate the burning of our mortgage.  People came from near and far to collectively celebrate what the Lord had done for Davis Memorial.  Our Bishop, The Right Reverend John Franklin White was our preacher.  Our Presiding Elder, Rev. Davis Memorial AME Church website is LIVE! Thanks to all the collaborators that made this possible. We’re ending 2017 on a positive note. The church has paid off our mortgage.
